The least I can say is that I love Divi. And keep loving it more and more every time I work on a Divi-powered project. And looking at the growing community, I know I’m definitely not the only one out there that loves what Elegant Themes have made out of Divi*.

Having worked in the web industry for more than a decade, I was thrilled when I found out about Divi and the possibilities it brought on the table. But what’s even better is the energy Elegant Themes put towards making their flagship product better and better with each new release. And with the upcoming Divi 3.0 version, it looks like Divi is going to get even more love out there while at the same time making it an even more rival to the other builders out there.
I love beautiful design, and with Divi it’s pretty much possible to recreate any layout in no-time. And using the powerful Library features, your workflow and development time can be even further reduced so that you can spend your time making your site / web app better, instead of re-inventing the wheel all over again on each new project.
The thing is: many Divi websites start to look similar, because the same way owning a camera does not make you a talented photographer, owning a great theme/framework such as Divi does not make one a UI expert. So, many users will stick with the default styling / typography and that’s where the “Divi-ish” look comes from.
That’s what Layouts Cafe is all about. Providing professional high-end Layouts Packs / Child themes, for a great theme/framework, so that you can concentrate on your business while looking gorgeous online!
And Layouts Cafe was born.
As my Divi library kept growing project after project, it all started to make sense to creating child-themes so that I could speed up my work. That’s when Divi 2.7 and the Layouts exportability options came into play: it gave a new dimension to the whole thing and I realised creating child-themes could be a new venture.
So here it is, Layouts Cafe was born. At least inside my head! That’s when the fun started: #minibusinessplan #findabusinessname# #createthelogo havefunwithresearchanddevelopment #createthechildthemes #debug #createthemainsite #debug … You know the drill!
And here we are, Layouts Cafe is born, so just choose your preferred flavour and have fun building your next masterpiece!
Why Layouts Cafe you might ask? Well, design is like flavours to me, and the same way we love good flavours,I hope you will love the different flavours Layouts Cafe has in store. So yeah I love Italian Cappuccino, so that’s where the Cafe in Layouts Cafe comes from. But if you’re more of a tea (or booze!) person, fear not my friend: it works the same 🙂
And yeah, thank you @ElegantThemes for crafting the great theme that Divi is, and allowing the community to expand it!
Now your turn, what do you like about Divi?
